Suvannamaccha (Thai: สุพรรณมัจฉา; rtgs: Suphanna Matcha; Khmer: សុវណ្ណមច្ឆា; Sovann Maccha, from Sanskrit:सुवर्णमत्स्य; suvarṇamatsya "golden fish") is a daughter of Tosakanth (Ravana) appearing in the Thai and other Southeast Asian versions of Ramayana.^[1] She is a mermaid princess who tries to spoil Hanuman's plans to build a bridge to Lanka but falls in love with him instead.<sup>[2]
